PIPING & EQUIPMENT SKIDS
In general, fabrication of piping and equipment skids (racks) in a controlled shop environment, uninterrupted by climatic conditions, results in higher quality, shorter delivery times, reduced costs and a mitigation of risk inherent with field construction.
E.S. Fox has four shops for pipe and equipment skid fabrication: Port Robinson and Kingston, Ontario, Edmonton, Alberta and Saint John, New Brunswick. All are UA shops and have fabricated racks and skids of varying sizes and dimensions for destinations in North America and throughout the world.
We have over 450 pipe welding procedures registered with T.S.S.A. (Technical Safety Standards Association) and over 80 registered structural CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) procedures. Besides Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel, we are qualified to weld high alloy materials such as Chrome Molybdenum, Inconel, Monel, and Hasteloy. Stringent Quality Assurance requirements have been implemented in our shops and are strictly adhered to at all times.
