SHEET METAL FABRICATION SHOP

The Kingston Sheet Metal Shop is a separate building adjacent to the U.A. Pipe Fabrication Shop. The sheet metal shop specializes in light gauge sheet metal ductwork and light industrial fabrication.

Manufacturing:

• Main building work area is 3800 square feet with an 18 ft. height, complete with a 3-ton mobile overhead crane.

  • 20’ x 12’ Acoustic Insulation and Painting Shop
  • 20’ x 16’ Shop Foreman Office, Pattern Drafting, Computer Estimating, and Blueprint Tables.

Equipment:

• 5’ x 10’ ESAB computerized duct cutting plasma machine. Capacity of 26 ga to ¾” thick mild steel and galvanized and ½” stainless steel.
• 5’ x 3/8 capacity Rondo Power Rolls.
• 4’ x 3/16 capacity Power Rolls.
• 250-ton Accurpress Hydraulic Press Brake.
• 3/8 M.S. & ¼ stainless steel capacity Accurshear Plate Shear.
• 10’ x 4’ Bench Master, complete with duct notching device.
• Two Brown Boggs Power Turning Machines.
• 12 ga Roll Forming Machine.
• Two Electric Pipe Rotators.
• 11 ga Western Arctronics Spot Welder, complete with 30” throat.
• P50 Piranha Ironworker. Capacity of 5 x 5 x 3/8 Angle Cutter with punch capacity of 1 1/16 holes in ½” mild steel.
• Two Lincoln Power Wave 455 Mig Welders.
• Two Lincoln STT-10 Mig Welders.
• Two Lincoln Arc Welding Machines.
• 10 HP Air Compressor, complete with air distribution points in various shop locations.
• 16 ga capacity Lock Former.
• 18 ga capacity Lock Former.
• 20 ga capacity Lock Former.
• 5’ x 16 ga capacity Beading Machine.
• 4’ Whitney Roper Box & Pan Brake.
• 10’ Whitney Roper Hand Brake.

• Duro Dyne Model PP2 Pinspotter for acoustic insulation of ductwork and fittings.
• Six Duct Fitting Assembly Tables.

U.A. PIPE FABRICATION SHOP

The U.A. Pipe Fabrication Shop in Kingston, Ontario is conveniently located adjacent to the 401 highway. The proximity of the fabrication facility is such that E.S. Fox Ltd. can easily ship prefabricated pipe spools, modular skids or pressure vessels to other major centres throughout the province of Ontario or the U.S.A.

Manufacturing:

• Main building is 10,000 sq. ft. with a height of 28 ft.
• Crane capacity consists of 2 - 5 ton overhead cranes
• 3 - floor mounted electric jib cranes
• Indoor and outdoor storage
• The site incorporates 2 acres of level, well compacted, crushed stone assembly area.

• Pneumatic Pipe Cutting & Bevelling Machine
• Liquid cool Tig 500 amp welders
• Mig welders
• Rotators
• Plasma Arc
• Tools and Equipment drawn from the Company owned complement.

Label:

• This facility is a fully certified U.A. pipe fabrication facility. It utilizes the special U.A. Label that clearly identifies the product as union made and therefore acceptable without question on any project in North America. This allows the use of "shop" facilities to fabricate piping components under controlled conditions thus enhancing quality and productivity for the customer.
